Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications within the CSG Software environment
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable mobile solutions
• Build high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code for Android platforms
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services into Android applications
• Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and stability across devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, crashes, and performance bottlenecks
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release activities
• Work with QA teams for testing, defect fixing, and production support
• Contribute to app architecture, feature enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain technical documentation and support release management activities

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Android application development
• Good experience in Java and/or Kotlin
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile app lifecycle
• Experience in building native Android applications
• Experience in integrating REST APIs / web services
• Good knowledge of UI design principles, layouts, and responsive design for Android
• Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and memory optimization
• Knowledge of SQLite / Room / local storage
• Familiarity with Git / version control systems
• Understanding of build and release process for Android apps
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MVVM / MVP / Clean Architecture
• Knowledge of Jetpack components
• Experience with Firebase
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment
• Experience in unit testing / UI testing
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
