AI Engineer

Benori (www.benori.com) is looking for an AI Engineer with 2+ years of relevant experience to design, build and deploy agentic and GenAI powered solutions for our clients. The role requires hands‑on experience with LLMs, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and modern data/analytics stacks, for turning client problems into robust AI workflows and agents.

The role is based in Gurgaon.

• Design, build and maintain agentic AI solutions based on client requirements
• Implement retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) pipelines including data ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector store setup, and retrieval logic
• Integrate LLMs and agents with client systems and data sources through APIs, webhooks, and connectors
• Participate in PoCs and pilots, rapidly iterating on prompts, workflows, and integrations based on user feedback
• Define and implement best practices for data quality, observability, security, and responsible AI within client engagements
• Write clean, modular, well‑tested code and contribute to internal libraries, templates, and accelerators for agentic solutions
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI, analytics and automation to proactively recommend and implement improvements

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in software engineering or data/ML engineering with solid programming skills in Python
• Hands-on experience of working with LLMs, LLM/agent frameworks such as LangChain, vector databases, and prompt engineering
• Experience with web scraping, API integration, and automation tools
• Experience with cloud platforms and deploying services
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team in an agile, iterative way
• Excited about working in a start-up as part of a fast-paced and rapidly evolving team
