Job Description
Title: Advice Support Administrator
Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week in the Manchester office
Salary From: £28,300

Purpose of the Role
This is not a traditional "back office" role.
As a Support Administrator at ii Advice, you are a critical part of the client journey — ensuring advice is delivered efficiently, compliantly and with care.

Purpose of the Role

As a Support Administrator at ii Advice, you are a critical part of the client journey — ensuring advice is delivered efficiently, compliantly and with care.
You will work closely with Financial Advisers to:
- Keep client cases moving smoothly
- Deliver a seamless digital experience
- Maintain high regulatory and data standards
- Help clients feel informed and supported at every stage
Client & Adviser Support
- Prepare client meeting packs and documentation
- Issue Letters of Authority and manage provider follow-ups
- Support onboarding and fact-finding processes
- Assist with suitability report preparation and documentation
- Proactively executing recommended transactions and ensured end-to-end follow-through
- Ensure accurate and timely case progression
- Maintain CRM records with precision
- Upload and manage documents within digital workflows
- Track pipeline cases and proactively chase outstanding items
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through better use of technology
- Ensure files meet internal and FCA standards
- Maintain accurate records of communications
- Support internal file checking processes
- Assist with data protection and GDPR compliance
- Be a professional and warm first point of contact
- Respond to client queries promptly and clearly
- Ensure clients feel informed throughout the advice process
- Help create a frictionless digital journey
What We're Looking For
Experience
- Experience in financial services administration (ideally within regulated advice)
- Understanding of UK retail investment products (ISAs, pensions, bonds)
- Familiarity with adviser platforms and CRM systems
- Awareness of FCA regulatory requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence using digital systems and learning new technology
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
