Job Description

🚨 NEW OPPORTUNITY | IMMEDIATE TO 30 DAYS JOINERS REQUIRED 🚨

Position: AP Specialist

Experience: 1+ Years

Budget: Up to 4 LPA

Employment Type: 1 Year Contract

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (Onsite)


Key Responsibilities

  • Process freight vendor invoices in SAP (FB60) while capturing GST and deducting WHT.
  • Coordinate with local stores/admin to collect, scan, and submit vendor invoices.
  • Verify documents such as Air Waybill, Bill of Entry, and import supplier invoices, and update the import tracker.
  • Collect and verify non-PO invoices (import freight, clearing agent, and service bills) and ensure approvals as per DOA.
  • Post non-PO invoices in SAP with applicable withholding tax deductions.
  • Share payment advice with vendors after bill payments are processed.
  • Perform monthly vendor reconciliations for high-value vendors.
  • Prepare GST input tax credit workings and import duty cost calculations using Excel.
  • Record advance customs duty payments and clear entries based on clearing documents.
  • Submit GST ITC files and BOE copies to the GST team.
  • Coordinate with purchase, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve documentation issues.
  • Support month-end activities and audits (statutory, internal, departmental).
  • Maintain proper archiving and filing of documents as per legal requirements.
  • Handle other Accounts Payable (AP) activities as required.


Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC6 is mandatory.
  • Good understanding of India GST, WHT, and foreign currency remittance processes.
  • Experience in import documentation review and import remittance in current or previous roles.
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills with fluency in business English (written & spoken).
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for data analysis.
  • Strong numerical and accounting knowledge.
  • Well organized with effective task and time management skills.
