About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Assistant. This entry-level fiscal role is vital to maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The primary focus will be on processing invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate entry of financial data, and supporting administrative functions related to accounts payable. Qualifications

A strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly GAAP, is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, is required, along with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to automated accounting systems. Familiarity with MS Dynamics or similar accounting software is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and documentation. The candidate should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Performing daily invoice processing and preparing payments in accordance with organizational policies and deadlines.
- Verifying invoice coding, ensuring accuracy, and entering approved invoices into the accounting system.
- Assisting with the weekly check run, ensuring timely disbursement of funds.
- Maintaining detailed records, spreadsheets, and financial tracking documents to ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
- Performing data entry, balancing input, and confirming the accuracy of reports and financial statements.
- Managing vendor files, including W-9 forms, contracts, and certificates of liability, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
- Processing incoming mail and monitoring the vendor email inbox to facilitate communication and documentation.
- Tracking and maintaining office supplies, including those for the lower building, to support operational needs.
- Providing support for various accounting projects and administrative tasks as assigned by the CFO and Director of Revenue.
